Whow where has the year gone? October already. My 'big' baby turns 13 this month. My 'little' baby turns 9. Caitlin has her first school camp next week and she is very excited. We are excited for her but a little apprehensive as she has been sleep walking alot lately! The boys go to camp next month (together) along with camp Dad - Daddy Dean! Caitlin and I are looking forward to some 'chick' time while they are all away. Might be able to play ABBA on itunes without being hassled! Daylight saving started here in Victoria on the weekend and we are loving that. Means more daylight hours to sit outside with a glass of vino. Cricket season has started and the boys have dragged me along to Rebel Sport to buy all the gear. Don't think Josh was too happy when he had to be 'fitted' for a box (for protection of his privates) the man asked him 'what size mate'! He was most embarrased and just shrugged his shoulders. Bet his was wishing he had dragged his Dad along!

Brrrrrrrrrr it's cold!

Has been pretty damn cold here lately. Thank goodness for thermal underwear is all I can say. Not much news from us. D has a new truck - pic's attached. Roof racks getting installed this weekend - a must when you also own a mother of a surfboard - a 9 ft longboard! Both boys' start there 'personal development programme' today at school - we had a parent meeting last night to discuss exactly what was been taught in this subject. Yes, they'll be learning about the 'birds and the bees' - and the rest!! They will be bringing homework home tonight - colouring/naming of both female and male body parts! Just so happens D is in Queensland so it'll be up to me! Yipeeeeee!! I can hardly wait.

Sunny Queensland

Returned from Queensland in the early hours of this morning. Had a brilliant trip. Weather was spectacular. Stayed with my brother Marc his wife Zoe and their four beautiful boys in Noosa. Caught up with our AmSam buddies (the Collins) also and managed to get up Gold Coast for two nights to visit Dean's relatives. Stayed on the 54th floor of the Q1 apartments which was 'interesting'! Took the kids to Dreamworld for a day which they loved. Back in Vic now to loose some weight and detox!!! Thank-you Marc, Zoe, Charlie, Finn, Sacha, Oak and Blue (and chickens) for your lovely hospitality. I hope you get the motor on the boat fixed before our next visit! xxoo

IT'S BEEN A WHILE!

Have added some pic's. Off up North next week to visit my brother and family in Noosa and also Jo aka Josephina and Gareth -our party animal neighbours from AS! Josh had the rod removed from his arm yesterday (broke it last September) so he is having to take it easy for a while. Can't go surfing so he's a bit miserable. Been to the 60% off yearly Ripcurl sale so we are now walking Rippy advert's!

The Holliers have arrived!

The Holliers (Dean's sister and family) arrived last weekend from Hawkes Bay, NZ. Hadn't seen them in 7 months. The big boys were in the ocean on Day 2 having a surf. Josh ventured out also. They got to experience Victorias wild weather yesterday as had a storm. Calmer today with plenty of action in the ocean as every man and his dog has hit the water due to huge waves. Waiting for D to come home to pick up his board and wettie!!
